One-to-One online maths tutoring

This is a personalised one-to-one online maths tutoring service, tailored to your specific needs. All lessons are centred and focused around what you need - or where I find you need help.

This service focuses on those topics you find difficult or need my assistance with.

You and I work together to identify your strengths and weakness up front, and we create a custom training and learning programme that best meets your need. We’ll follow this plan, adapting it as we both learn how you learn and what makes you tick.

There is 100% flexibility in what you want to be tutored for in a lesson. The pace of the lessons can be fast - or slow - to match the speed of your learning.

The content of each lesson can change as per you need. We’ll skip stuff you know and focus on what you don’t. That way we ensure relevant training.

I will set you homework weekly and expect you to complete it in time. You also agree that you will let me know what you find difficult so we can work together to fix it. The more you let me know, the better service I can provide.

Fee and Service details

Each online session will commence promptly at the scheduled time and lasts for 60 minutes.

The fee for one online session during weekday evenings is:

  • KS3 - Year 7 to Year 9 - £ 30

  • KS4 - GCSE Maths - £ 35

  • KS4 - IGCSE Maths - £ 40

  • A Level Maths - Pure / Core Pure / Mechanics / Further Mechanics / Decision - £ 45

For Weekend tutoring (available by special request only) please add £ 10 per session extra.

The sessions will start as booked and as soon as the necessary payments have been made. Please read the Payments and Cancellation Policy page for details.

This service includes

  • creating a custom training and study plan that supports your school learning, identifying and prioritising your potential weakness

  • setting tailored weekly homework; correcting and providing feedback on returned homework

  • your own personal, dedicated online Whiteboard for 100% live access and collaboration

  • ad-hoc in-lesson testing to gauge understanding and to re-evaluate study plan

  • regular progress monitoring and feedback

  • weekly monitoring and discussion of your progress in your classroom lessons

  • free access to certain on-line lessons conducted by MathsEdu.uk (at my discretion and at my invitation only)
