Hi,
I’m Hygenus, a High School Maths Teacher and One-to-one Online Maths Tutor in Barnet, North London. I teach Maths and only Maths - the only subject I’m in love with and the subject I’m most passionate about.
I'm an engineer by profession, and have worked in the Indian Space Programme as a Scientist for 11+ years.
I was a Teacher of Mathematics at Finchley Catholic High School, teaching Y7 to Y13 for three academic years between 2020 - 2023.
In the evenings (and by special request - on weekends), I tutor A-levels, GCSE / International GCSE & KS3 (Year 7-Year 9) pupils.
I apologise for being unable to tutor pupils in KS2 (Primary) and below. At this point in time, I am unable to provide face-to-face tuitions - I only tutor online.
I provide my tutees with relevant problems from other Boards, so the tutee has exposure to problems attempted by their peers in other schools and colleges.
I use the latest teaching technology and materials to deliver online lessons.
My objective is to make Mathematics work for everyone by making it personal, accessible and affordable. The value and services I provide is transparent, open and is fully listed on this website. No hidden surprises.
